The Well
Dressed Garden Now Offers Workshops

Would
you like to learn how to create beautiful hanging
baskets for all seasons? The Well-Dressed Garden
now conducts workshops for special interest groups,
garden societies, and business owners covering
techniques for creating, hanging, and maintaining
"show stopping" baskets.
The
owners of the Well-Dressed garden bring to their
classes years of horticulture experience from the
science of growing to color and design theory. Some
of our clients include Walt Disney World, Universal
Studio, Leu Gardens and the city of Winter Park,
Florida.
Our
classes cover the following topics:
- Hanging
baskets, wreaths, and topiaries for all
seasons.
- The
benefits of using sphagnum moss verses other
growing mediums.
- Proper
planting and maintenance techniques
- The
right plant for the right place.
Our
classes run 1.5 to 2 hours long, beginning with a
slide show, a display of living baskets, followed
by a hands-on opportunity for participants to
create their own baskets using the techniques
they've just learned.
